Fly Back (swing ) Barrier Gates are used where the traffic flow is heavy and in one direction, like TOLL PLAZA.

When the vehicle hits the boom, the boom will not break down, instead it will swing upto 90 degree and allow the vehicle to pass, the boom can be pushed back to original position later on.

Standardisation regulations dictate that in case a vehicle hits the boom, vountarily or involuntarily, the vehicle should not be damanged. Fly back barriers prevent such accidents from taking place by detaching themselves from normal positions and swinging back allowing the vehicel to pass through. Once the vehicle has passed, the boom can be brought back to the original position manually. No major damage will be caused to the boom or the vehicle in case of an accident.
